BECK ROWSE

Beck is a Geelong-based multimeda artist whose practice is deeply rooted in love, hope, healing, identity and advocacy. Her work serves as a sacred dialogue—an invitation into deeper encounters with authenticity and truth. With a layered, textural approach, Beck creates art that is not just seen but profoundly felt. Her pieces invite viewers into spaces of reflection and depth, where emotions and stories unfold beyond the canvas.  A heart artist at her core, with a strong faith, she believes in the transformative power of art to heal the observer and reveal hidden beauty, shift atmospheres, and connect people to something greater than themselves. Co creating with the greatest artist of all, the creator of our precious earth, creator of the universe and of all that lives and moves, Beck is always learning from the Master artist and ultimate healer, Jesus Christ.  Through her work, Beck seeks to cultivate spaces of advocacy—where the stories and voices of those that cannot speak are given a platform to be heard. She is passionate about restoring true identity by speaking truth over people and restoring life. Her creative process is an intimate act of listening and responding, guided by the question: “God, what would You like me to paint today?” Beck has participated in various group exhibiotions over the years.  After completing her diploma in fine arts in 1994, she participated in live sculptural art through hairdressing, conference openings, church events and in her career both on and off the stage for over 26 years, along with experiences in stage production, worship leading, songwriting and sound healing. Beck has recently returned to her first love: painting. Her artwork is a great therapy tool as she journeys through her own healing, and serves as sacred dialogue, inviting viewers to engage in deeper restorative encounters with beauty, healing and truth. Beck aims to create spaces of reflection, and spiritual discovery, where art transcends mere observation and and is a powerful healing weapon that brings deep peace and child like joy. Her work is held in private collections here in Geelong and world wide.

"Art, to me, is a beautiful, intimate weapon, a delightful way to know the Father's heart; to dance with Holy Spirit,  release Heaven on earth and to partner with Jesus and what He is doing. Art heals. Art transcends language and speaks the language of the heart. Art moves mountains and stops hurricanes in their tracks. Art restores hope. That's something I am honoured to be a part of." - Beck Rowse
